Turkish Super Lig club Galatasaray shown a strong interest in Nigerian star Chidera Ejuke as Henry Onyekuru’s replacement.
The Yellow-Reds are in search of a goalscoring winger after they couldn’t reach an agreement with Monaco to secure the permanent signing Super Eagles ace.
According to reports from Fanatik claim that Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim has identified Heerenveen’s star forward Ejuke as the right man to replace departed Onyekuru.
Heerenveen rejected a €7m offer from an unnamed Chinese club for the 22-year-old star in May.
Galatasaray will however face stiff competition from Dutch giants Ajax who are willing to pay part of the money they received for Hakim Ziyech who left for Chelsea as they seek to replace the Moroccan at the Amsterdam Arena.
Lazio are reported to be keen on reigniting their interest for the player after he snubbed them 12 months ago, with the lure of European Football a motivating factor in their pursuit of the Nigerian.
Ejuke scored an amazing 9 goals in 25 appearances in just his first season, chipping in a further four assists to justify the two million Euros Henreeven paid for his services from Norwegian club Valerenga.
