Three housemates were, last Saturday, evicted following the outcome of the votes cast by viewers at the reality T.V show, Dance with Peter, sponsored by Glo. While Amazing Amy, Bobby B and Octopus recorded the highest votes from the audience and returned to the academy, SoCrazy Cool, Weezy and MOD recorded the lowest votes and were consequently sent packing from the dance academy. The six dancers had been put up for eviction in last week’s edition of the show.
The judges, Peter Okoye of PSquare, Dance queen Kaffy, Dance choreographer, Don Flexx, and Omawumi who featured as a guest judge encouraged the evictees to remain focused and consistent in achieving their dream saying that the Dance with Peter show is just a stepping stone for them.
With the eviction, the academy was left with 15 housemates who were given the task of performing the dance steps of any music legend of their choice. The focus in last week’s edition was “Legendary Throwback.”
One after the other, the housemates thrilled the audience with scintillating dance steps, trying to out-dance one another to avoid eviction. Messiah performed Boney M’s Daddy Cool, Paullete perfomed Cindy Lauper’s Just wanna have fun, Nekky performed Angelique Kidjo’s Agolo, while G-Xtreme performed Tina Turner’s What’s love got to do?
At the end of the performance, those put up for eviction are Paulette (519), Nekky (530), Bobby Blankson (510), Teejay (516) and Yemy (525).
Globacom, in a statement, encouraged viewers to vote for their favorite contestants. “Voters stand a chance of winning fantastic prizes including Iphone 5 handsets, Glo internet wifi and modems as well as Glo recharge cards”
