He wrote a letter to the head of Russian Orthodox Church that one question was causing great pain to his soul ” I keep having the same unsolved question. If my riffle claimed lives, then can it be that I a Christian was responsible for their death’s?” “the longer I live, the more this questions drills itself into my brain and the more I wonder why the Lord allowed man to have the devilish desires of envy, greed, and aggression.”

In one of his quotes he said ” Blame the Nazi Germans for making me become a gun designer. I always wanted to construct agriculture machinery.”

He also said “I’m proud of my invention, but I’m sad that it is used by terrorists. I would prefer to have invented a machine that people could use and that would help farmers with their work. For example lawn mower.”

AK-47 is still used to claim millions of lives even after his death. The world need peace and not war.
