Students of Ogun State descent under the National Association of Ogun State Students’ (OAU chapter) have concluded arrangements to hold their annual day celebration after a three-year hiatus.
To make this year’s event memorable,the celebration would be in two fold,a cultural night and a beauty contest where a Miss NAOSS would emerged, would be held simultaneously.
According to the General Secretary of the association,Babatunde Oyedele, the annual day celebration would be held on the 20th of February,a day after the Cultural night scheduled for 19th.
Oyedele said the executives decided to restart the day celebration after the three years hiatus due to their zeal to see to the resuscitation of the great association.
He said renowned speakers have been carefully selected to impart knowledge into the members as they would speak on ‘Impact of Politics on socio – cultural development, Youth Empowerment” and “Entrepreneurship-Youths and the essence of self-employment in Nigeria”
The President of the association,Segun Adejare said the crux of the celebration would be the launching of the associations magazine,that would highlight the various efforts of the executives.
Dignitaries expected at the Cultural night and Miss NAOSS competition are the CEO of Global Exposure ,Miss Tourism Ogun State, Arewa Ogun, Miss Awelewa and Miss Funaab.
Adejare said this year’s event promises to be great,fun-filled, educative and inspiring, as lots of packages await attendees.
