LIVERPOOL FC is reportedly targeting one of Real Madrid’s brightest talents, Brazilian forward Rodrygo, as they prepare to make a substantial bid for the 23-year-old player.

Rodrygo, who has been making waves at the Santiago Bernabéu, may soon find himself at a career crossroads as Premier League clubs show increasing interest.

According to a report by Spanish news agency Fichajes, Liverpool is among the leading contenders to secure his services, with plans to offer around €100 million.

While Real Madrid currently has no intention of selling Rodrygo, the club does not regard him as untouchable.

The allure of significant offers from the English Premier League could prove hard to resist for both the player and the club.

Fichajes noted that Liverpool views Rodrygo as a prime candidate to replace Mohamed Salah, who is reportedly approaching the twilight of his career at Anfield.

The report stated, “Liverpool, in particular, sees Rodrygo as an ideal candidate to succeed Salah, who may be entering the final stages of his time at the club.”

Rodrygo’s ability to change the course of a match, coupled with his impressive statistics—57 goals and 43 assists in 225 appearances—demonstrates his maturity and effectiveness in high-pressure situations such as La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.

Despite Real Madrid’s appreciation for Rodrygo’s talents, the club is open to exploring lucrative offers for its players.

“The club is aware that the Premier League offers attractive contracts and opportunities for young talent, and Rodrygo could be tempted to embrace a new challenge, particularly if Liverpool presents a compelling project,” Fichajes added.

With Liverpool gearing up for a significant bid, the summer of 2025 could mark a pivotal moment in Rodrygo’s career as he contemplates his future in football.
