“Damn” earns Lamar his third number one album on the Billboard 200 chart with biggest debut of 2017.

Billboard reports that the Compton rapper’s “Damn” has sold 603,000 units overriding Drake’s “More Life” which sold 505, 000 units in its first week.

Drake however still holds a champion record with his 2016 platinum selling album “Views” raking in a staggering 1.04 million copies in seven days.

To add more perspective to this, “Damn” sold more traditional album copies (353,000)  than Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” (322,000 copies) in its first week.
