IgbereTV reports that Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo has threatened to go on a social media war with the management of Mega Chicken Restaurants Limited after the company reefuted claims made by the journalist over the poor quality of food and poor hygiene standard of their restaurant. Kemi Olunloyo claimed she spotted one of the restaurant’s chef talking into a food without wearing facemask. Consequently, she advised her fans not to eat in the restaurant. Kemi also said the restaurant uses Ajino Motor spices to sweeten their food which she said is dangerous to health.

The spices that @megachicken_NG use in their food is reportedly Ajinomoto which is a combination of MSG and sugarcane. Many are complaining about the level of sweeteners in the food. No wonder Nigerians have high levels of diabetes. @NafdacAgency must look into this #Kemitalks

Mega Chicken Defames an investigative Journalist trying to solve a personal consumer issue. I’m going on an all out SOCIAL MEDIA war with the company. This is why Nigerians are suffering and smiling, melanoma has increased and so is diabetes. An employee put thousands in danger they refused to address it.
