A military personnel attached to 33 Artillery Brigade, Bauchi, Samuel Bulus, has been killed by a Dangote trailer at a military check-point near Panshanu village, along Bauchi -Jos highway of Bauchi State.
According to a press statement by the Bauchi state Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Haruna Mohammed and made available to newsmen in Bauchi on Tuesday, the accident which claimed the life of the military officer happened on the 16th of November 2015 about 9pm.
The statement said that the Dangote trailer with registration number DAL 22 YE was driven by a 52 years old man, one Mohammed Girgiri, .The statement read:” The accident occurred when the truck driver loaded with Dangote cement from Abajana in Kogi State and heading to Damaturu in Yobe State, lost control due to high speed and hit an Army personnel on duty, one Private Samuel Bulus attached to 33 artillery brigade at the checkpoint”.
