An explosion has been reported to have gone off in the ancient city of Kano,some minutes ago.
The explosion was reported to have hit the popular Kano GSM market around farm centre.
Premium Times quoted a reporter, Mohammed Ahmad as saying that, “An explosion has gone off at Kano GSM market around farm centre. I’m rushing to the scene.”

Casualty figure could not be ascertained at the moment as rescue teams are yet to arrive the scene.
The explosion is coming barely 24 hours after a similar blast rocked a crowded park in Yola, the Adamawa state capital, killing 34 people dead and 80 injured.
