25th Annual Youth Conference: Celestial Youths Urged To Remain United In ‘Oneness With Christ’ For Continuous Progress

THE National Youth Coordinator and Chairman, Annual Youth Conference (AYC) 2023 of the Celestial Church of Christ, Evang. Ayo Gabriel Akinkunmi has called on all Celestial youths to continue to stay united in Oneness with Christ as that’s the only panacea to their continuous success in the face of adversities.
Akinkunmi said the success story of each youth within the 25 years of inception of the youth arm can be attributed to their determination to continue to serve others.
At the conference, he welcomed all participants and stated that they came together not only to celebrate the spirit of enlightenment under the theme ‘Season of Illumination’ but also to mark a momentous milestone- their 25th Anniversary!
He said, “It is with immense joy and pride that we gather here today, for this year’s conference signifies a quarter-century of dedication, progress, and unwavering commitment to empowering the youths of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Over the past 25 years, we have witnessed the transformation of countless young minds, each one shining brighter with newfound knowledge and inspiration. Indeed, this is Our Year of Jubilee.
“This convergence is not just a congregation of young minds; it is a celebration of the spirit of enlightenment that resides within each one of us. As we bask in the glow of this “Season of Illumination, we also reflect on the journey that brought us here. From humble beginnings to becoming an integral part of the youth’s growth and development.
“Today, we celebrate not only the accomplishments of our organization but, more importantly, the remarkable achievements of the youth we have had the privilege to serve. Each success story, every positive change brought about, and all the lives touched by our endeavors are a testament to the impact we can create when we stand united with ‘Oneness in Christ.
“ In this momentous celebration, we remember with gratitude all those who played a significant role in shaping the trajectory of this conference. Our founding members, our dedicated volunteers, our generous sponsors, and all those who have been part of this beautiful journey – your contributions have been the building blocks of our success today. But, let us not forget that our journey is far from over”, he stated.
 He urged all to remember that there is still much to be achieved and they should continue to nurture the flame of knowledge in the Word of God, the compassion of Christ Jesus working through them, and collaboration that burns within each one of them.
Akinkunmi affirmed that as they delved into the discussions, sessions, and activities lined up in this conference, he urged all to reflect not only on the past, the present but also on the boundless possibilities that lie ahead. “We might be going through perilous times, but it is the fire, the vision, the passion, the resilience, and determination that will guide us toward the fulfillment of purpose”.
He encouraged the participants to seize the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and catalyze the transformation they wish to see in the Celestial Church of Christ.
 “Let your ideas flow freely, and let your passion for a better church and youth body, drive you forward. Embrace the potential that lies within you, and use it to ignite the flame of positive change in the lives of those around you”, he asserted.
He extended his deepest gratitude to everyone who has been a part of the incredible journey. and contributed to making this “Season of Illumination possible – “Our National Excos and partners, the 2023 Annual Youth Conference Planning Committee, the ministers, the volunteers, and all the participants who have chosen to be a part of this incredible event”, he added.
